Quality of Life Medical & Research Center (QLM&RC) is a premier research facility located in Tucson, Arizona. Our research clinic has conducted 80+ clinical trials. Our facilities and staff are qualified to handle a wide variety of Phase 1-4 studies, ranging from one to 1000 study participants. Our research patient population includes a cross section of ethnic backgrounds, ages and medical conditions.
Quality of Life Medical Center (QLMC) is our multi-specialty medical practice which works closely with our research division in patient management and recruitment. Our medical practice has 15,000 active patients ranging in ages and conditions. Our medical practice patients visit us regularly for routine care in the following specialty areas: sports medicine, internal medicine, pain management, age management, diabetic care, family medicine, accident injury, and medical aesthetics. Having a large multi-specialty practice keeps our research providers on the front lines of patient care.
QLM&RC is commitment to quality research results and to developing assurance programs through staff training and internal audit programs. Staff education and training are keys to quality research. Continuous quality improvement is an ongoing effort with all staff involved in this commitment. We hold mandatory weekly training meetinsg for study startup for all QLM&RC staff. Our practice through constant communication between CRO’s, monitors and QLM&RC staff helps to insure proper results.

QLM&RC has been successfully FDA audited with no findings of fact.
- We offer sophisticated marketing and branding campaigns that have established QLM&RC as a regional leader in medical research. In addition to our database marketing we have complete print, radio, TV, internet, email newsletter and social media marketing campaigns established. All recruitment materials are sent to IRB for review prior to use. Two full-time recruiters are used for initial patient screening.

- QLM&RC recently opened an additional 7800 sq. ft. research facility adjacent to their medical practice.
- Temperature controlled 24 hour monitored locked storage facilities and -20 degree freezers, cold centrifuge, regular centrifuge, stadiometer, DXA (Lunar-Prodigy machine) for bone density and body fat composition testing.

Five study coordinators, one Nurse Practitioner, ten Phlebotomists, Registered Dietitian, Certified Diabetes Educator for weight loss, diabetic and lipid trials, two patient recruiters, Administrative staff for regulatory preparation. Certified DXA technician, five on-site physicians, MD available every day, Specialist MD’s for OB-GYN, Gastroenterology, Allergy and Immunology, Dermatology available as needed. Average years of experience per coordinator: four years, ranging from two to 25 years. Investigator experience range: six to 18 years. Standard Operating Procedures in place for staff training, informed consent, drug accountability, drug storage, HIPAA. All clinical research staff is Saf-t-pak certified. Site responsibility log for all involved in each trial. All staff meetings and trainings are documented for review.
